This Resources company has registered an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mine Geologist to join their team. The company is offering proven success in delivering profitable projects. They currently have an open-pit mine that requires an experienced & hands-on Senior Mine Geologist.
The position will report to the Geology Manager and will take an active role in the supervision & mentoring of a small production team. You will assume a 'hands-on' role in relation to all aspects of daily operations with a key focus on the following:
Assist with the implementation & supervision of grade control systems
End of Month Reporting
Assisting with mine planning
Training, supervising & coaching staff
Overseeing day to day production activities
Geological modelling
The position will require proven experience in a senior/supervisory position, specifically within an open-pit environment. You will have relevant Tertiary Qualifications, proven 3D modelling ability and experience in leading small production teams.
The position is offered on a FIFO basis and will require you to be based in the Northern Territory. An attractive salary package in the vicinity of $120K - $145K + Super will be offered.
