We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Mining Engineer to join a surface operation. The company has built a strong 'team culture' and is focused on growth through the development of a number of existing projects across Australia. The existing opportunity will report to the Mine Engineering Manager you will work on an attractive FIFO roster and will take direct responsibility for the daily production activities, including developing daily, weekly & monthly mining schedules. You will have substantial experience in mine design & long-term mine planning and a proven ability to Supervise production staff to ensure production targets are achieved
The position will require previous experience in an open-pit environment and you must be prepared to assume a hands-on role. Your ability to cover the duties will also be a key to your success. To be considered, it is essential you have Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering and possess Restricted QM Ticket
The role will attract a competitive salary package or contract rate that you would expect for a top tier Mine Engineer.
