About our client

Dealer representative of earth moving and industrial equipment in West Africa (12 local offices).

Job description

Working with the Office Director, you will be responsible for running the workshop including the technical, organizational, managerial and administrative aspects.

At the mining site, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the fleet is well maintained: respecting manufacturers' maintenance standards, prioritizing maintenance duties, ensuring that Health & Safety and Statutory Compliance issues are dealt with in a timely manner etc...
- Managing group workshops, verifying repairs delays, ensuring that work tools are well maintained in the workshop etc...
- Making sure that operations have optimized profitability as well as checking maintenance contracts/machine warranties
- Ensuring management and training of the technician team

Who we are looking for

To be considered for this position you must have Technical BTEC Higher National Diploma or equivalent, a first experience of minimum 5 years is required on all mechanical engineering (hydraulic, diesel, electrical...). Knowledge in materials handling and security rules on mining sites are required.
International experience is essential.
French & English mandatory.
