THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil and Gas Energy company to provide a Mechanical Engineer. Reporting to the Head of Engineering and Feasibility, role is to provide mechanical engineering support and accountability for all mechanical engineering activities within Logistics and Infrastructure Department. Must be able to travel locally to sites and internationally in particular to work on design, procurement and construction in contractors offices. Residential, contract duration one year (renewable). Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
5 years experience in mechanical engineering design, piping design or process engineering. Experience in site construction activities. 3 years experience in infrastructure development work. Experience of development, review and comment on mechanical calculations and drawings. Experience of working for an international company an advantage. Must demonstrate a personal commitment to HSE by following Kazakhstan Statutory HSE Regulations, Client Corporate HSE Policy, and applying Client Safety Management Systems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency and competence in AutoCAD software. Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work closely with engineers from different cultural backgrounds. Must have desire to develop technical knowledge. Fluent written and spoken English.
