Responsibilities
Maintain central communication link between Product Support organization and MinePro field offices. Manage the resolution of field related questions and issues through the P&H Milwaukee organization. Manage and create technical information to be used at all levels within P&H and to our customers. Independently evaluate issue scope with respect to design, processes, and priorities within the organization. Actively participate in Service Conferences, Post Commissioning review meetings, onsite audits or troubleshooting if required. Track new and existing issues in the Product Support system. Maintain and update Product Support Knowledge Bases with issue resolutions and useful service information. Assess the severity and prioritize issues for consideration within the Product Reliability Review Board. Prepare service documents based on technical information and issues. Assist MinePro with local service meetings by preparing and often presenting technical information.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering; an Associates Degree will be considered with appropriate relevant experience. 8 - 10 years of electrical experience in a relevant environment, including at least 3 years "hands on" electrical experience with electric mining shovels, rotary blasthole drills or walking draglines, preferably in a field service environment. PLC programming experience. Strong theoretical understanding of DC and AC drives and motor control. Excellent problem solving ability and project management skills to resolve and track issues. Must be detail oriented and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills, the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to travel to various MinePro regions around the world. Comfortable interacting with MinePro personnel and customers of different cultures.
