This position is based at a comfortable location in the South Pacific Rim where local facilities includes a shopping complex, well-equipped hospital, International school, sporting venues and a six-day a week air service. With strong community involvement, this is a remote mining operation where Expatriates and National staff alike enjoy modern resources in a safe and stable community. It will be a challenging role requiring enthusiasm, commitment to a zero harm safety culture and a proactive approach to addressing complex organisational challenges.

The Supply and Logistics Department is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement professional to join the management team accountable for providing leadership and management across a diverse Department. This position is essentially responsible for the Procurement and Systems functions and also ensuring appropriate training is identified and delivered to enhance staff competence.

The ideal candidate will possess:

* Bachelors Degree or higher in a Commerce or Business related discipline
* 5-10 years operational experience in a Supply and Logistics environment for a major mining or commercial organisation
* 3 + years in a Procurement Supervisory role
* Training and experience in ERP supply systems management (Ellipse preferred)
* Business improvement and reporting experience (Lean and/or Six sigma)
