Equigold NL, a subsidiary of LGL, operates the Mount Rawdon Gold Mine situated near the town of Mt Perry, 100km west of Bundaberg, Queensland and mines & processes 3.5mtpa of ore with a solid mine life and exploration potential.
A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists for a Maintenance Planner - fixed and mobile plant to join our highly successful team at Mount Rawdon Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the role will be responsible for:
* planning and scheduling both short term and long term maintenance of fixed and mobile plant
* organising and managing plant shutdowns
* providing assistance with preparing the maintenance budget
* taking responsibility for the maintenance system within MIMS Ellipse
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and skills:
* Trade Qualifications in an Engineering discipline - either mechanical or electrical
* Maintenance Planning experience within the resources or related industry
* Exposure to MIMS Ellipse or other CMMS is a must
* High level of competency with MS Office applications
* Ability to communicate across various levels and work autonomously
* Strong and demonstrable leadership ability
Ideally you will have a minimum of 10 years maintenance experience in mining or similar heavy industry with at least 5 years working as a maintenance planner, and will have demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets, costing systems, cost control.
This role is residential in Mount Perry or district and works a 5 days on 2 days off or similar roster to meet operational requirements - specific conditions and details of the remuneration package will be discussed at interview.
