POSITION DESCRIPTION: Gas Processing: Sulfur Recovery Specialist: Company is seeking an Engineering Specialist with extensive experience in Sulfur Recovery processes. Incumbent should have extensive knowledge to conduct economic studies and cost analysis of different Sulfur Recovery systems of both gas plants and refineries. Incumbent should audit and review existing Sulfur Recovery facilities/systems to identify improvement opportunities, potential problems, and remedies to existing problems, should work closely with operating plants and other Engineering organizations, should participate in studies, evaluations and investigations in collaboration with other Saudi Aramco and outside organizations related to new and existing Sulfur Recovery facilities/systems. Should develop plans for reviewing and incorporating new technologies in Saudi Aramco plants, should conduct simulations studies using Saudi Aramco licensed process simulation software packages such as Promax and Sulsim, should deliver presentations to an international audience of experts and publishes technical papers, should mentor Saudi Arab engineers and future Sulfur Recovery specialists. Incumbent should possess excellent computer skills as well as excellent oral/written presentation skills.
SELECTION CRITERIA: BS Chemical Engineering. Advanced Degree preferred. with 10 years of experience in Sulfur Recovery. COMMENTS: Process & Control Systems Department/Upstream Process Engineering Division. The Upstream Process Engineering Division provides engineering expertise in processing of natural gas and light hydrocarbons, production and stabilization of crude oil and simulation of pipelines and processes.
