NDT Mechanical Inspection Engineer

Description: The incumbent will perform or monitor the advanced level complex inspection activities and provide technical guidance in audits for compliance to requirements in Vendor Quality Control/Vendor Quality Assurance/Vendor Quality Monitor. Typical work responsibility involves perform/oversee the performance of on-site inspections, monitoring vendors' inspection, factory performance tests recording, review the results of tests, auditing activities and quality systems at manufacturers' plants and ensuring compliance to requirements; train inspection personnel and may be required to present training session to groups of personnel in the organization.

Minimum Requirement: BS degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical discipline with 10 years experience in inspecting coating. Certifications: CSWIP 3.2 or AWS certified inspector; ASNT level II in all NDT methods (MT, PT, UT and RT); Certified as NACE III international Coating Inspector or British Gas 1 Comments: Inspection Department (ID) is charged with the corporate responsibility for Inspection of materials and equipments purchased, and equipments and facilities constructed for Saudi Aramco. The incumbent will be assigned to ID's Vendor Inspection Division (VID), which takes care of quality control, quality assurance, and quality monitoring for all materials bought by the Company and Contractors.
