Swift Oil and Gas is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Extraction Process Engineer for our client's on-site operation in Calgary. This is a contract position that is expected to run for approximately 1 year with the option to extend depending on the needs of the project and will be based on the project site. Anticipated start date - ASAP DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 9:00am Monday 30 November, 2009 About the job... PRINCIPAL TASKS: Reporting to the Extraction Process Lead, the duties will include: * Assist with oil sand froth production development projects involving unit operations such as gravity separation, bitumen flotation, desanding cyclones and slurry pumping. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Position requires strong technical analysis and report writing capability * Position requires some travel to pilot facilities and requires excellent written and verbal communications * Ideal candidate will have some process engineering and research experience * Ideal candidate will have more than 10 years experience but more than 5 years experience will be considered To apply for this position, please e-mail your resume in MS word format.
