THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineers reporting to the HUC Project Coordinator. Based offshore, 12 months (renewable) contract on 28/28 basis. Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years of international oil & gas experience both offshore & onshore. Experience in HVAC system installation & connection, rotating equipment packages. Former CIS experience, work with sour gas and / or arctic environment. Previous experience as a senior technical specialist within a team. Provide HVAC engineering technical expertise to the Offshore Hook-up and Installation Group. Coordination of contractors services in the execution of the HVAC design of the offshore facilities. Excellent technical abilities, particularly in relation to full understanding of rotating equipment. Ability to define contractor scope of work and review work progress and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Excellent interpersonal / team-working skills to include formal report writing, formal presentations / ability to work with a wide range of personnel from a multi-cultural and multi-functional environment. Full understanding of HSE importance in planning and executing projects. Proactive approach to HSE issues and safety / hazard management. Demonstrable working knowledge of relevant technical codes and standards within the mechanical engineering discipline. Ability to write concise / well structured technical reports. Effectively communicate engineering issues to Management and Partners. Ability to introduce, challenge and effectively integrate innovative technology. Fluent written and spoken English.
