The Senior Mineral Processing Engineer will provide high quality consulting services to a growing base of domestic and international clients. You will work with and manage a variety of cross discipline teams made up of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff.
You will review and approve material balances. Process design criteria, PFDs, P& IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications and evaluations. This role will also involve communication with clients on a technical level with occasional domestic and international travel. You will have the passion and aptitude to mentor and train others and have enthusiasm for business development.
You possess a degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering in addition to your 15+ years of specific experience in gold processing operations and/or design. Your general areas of expertise include metallurgical testwork, planning/analysis, flotation, gravity separation, pressure oxidation, heap leaching, CIL/CIP and electrowinning/refining. You are or have the ability to register as a Professional Engineer and are willing to work in a French/English bilingual environment.
