Location: Saudi Arabia POSITION DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will be expected to:
Develop maintain, and administer all types of contracts. Assist in feasibility studies to determine viable contractual options. Coordinate with Contract Department and other concerned organizations in procurement of contracts. Have a thorough understanding and experience in project execution for plant/hydrocarbon projects. Assist in developing the scope of work and other contractual schedules as required, company estimates, bid list, etc. Develop statistical reports pertaining to contracting activities. Negotiate with contractors. Advise proponents on contracting policies. Initiates guidelines, coordinates activities and provides technical expertise to assure the proper and timely development and / or maintenance and administration of contracts, maintains conformity to the accepted corporate contracting policies and procedures, and meets the proponent technical/operation requirements in a timely and most cost effective manner.
SELECTION CRITERIA BS degree in Business or Engineering discipline; MBA desirable. Minimum of 10 years in business primarily involved with development and administration engineering and/or construction contracts. Work experience in auditing, accounting and contracting techniques and procedures is desirable. Must have a strong background with PC application and have demonstrated the ability to learn new application on own; would be desirable to have some experience with SAP or similar software. Must understand the importance of procedures for the development and administration of contracts; must have a clear, analytic mind and the ability to see and communication the logic behind actions. Must be fluent in English (spoken and written); majority or education and work experience must have been in English; must have ability to read quickly with high comprehension and retention.
