One full-time permanent opening for an experienced Explorationist to work District 4. Company is an independent producer with established production both onshore and offshore. The candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Exploration and will be responsible for both screening and generating onshore prospects as well as maturing existing geophysical leads to a drilling status. Candidate should be cross-trained and experienced in both Petra and SMT. ORRI on generated prospects.
I am looking for a motivated individual who loves geology, drilling wells, and being a part of an integrated team that is responsible for growing our production base.

Job Requirements
Experience
1. Onshore Texas
2. Must be able to take a drilling lead and develop it into a drillable prospect supported with production data, seismic data, log analysis, and cross-sections. Some geophysical interpretation on a work station is required, but the primary responsibility is to utilize Petra to either support or direct an experienced team Geophysicist.
3. A working knowledge of AVO is a plus.
4. Ability to perform basic economic evaluations, risking, and prospect sizing supported with acre-foot volumes and reservoir description.
