Working on projects related to the refineries and onshore oil and gas sector.
Contract terms of employment.
Long term requirement on a good rotation cycle.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare scope of work and participate in FEED stage of the project.
Undertake periodic site trips to collect data, for work required or trouble shooting and preparation of technical reports as required.
The interpretation and application of Mechanical Engineering schematics and instrumentation diagrams
Maintain effective performance measures for mechanical systems; and follow and enforce the company QHSE policy.
Minimum experience:
Should have 10 – 15 years working in the refineries and onshore oil and gas sectors, and experience and knowledge in the following:
Water injection system, oil/ gas separation, gas compression system and gas turbines.
FEED STAGE and scope of work preparation
Use of international standards and codes of practices, such as API, ASME, ASTM, BS, ANSI, etc
Experience in HAZOP & HAZARD studies, and knowledge in Paula or Caesar II software
Ability to understand and prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams.
Ability to assist in mechanical equipment design, together with data processing in relation to refineries and oil & gas equipment (storage tanks, compressors, turbines, pumps cooling and heating, etc)
Qualifications:
Degree in Instrument Engineering, preferably with further study in equipment instrument design and data processing related to refineries and oil and gas.
