Location: Victor Mine
Rotation: 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out
To oversee the housekeeping, catering contract, travel arrangements and contribute to the planning and implementation of recreational activities to maximize satisfaction with camp living conditions and thereby ensure employees and contractors can focus on applying their unique skills and abilities to support the overall objectives and strategies of the Victor Mine.
The incumbent will be responsible for:
„hƒn Welcoming guests and directing visitor inquiries;
„hƒn Ensure Contracts are in Compliance (housekeeping and catering);
„hƒn Chair meetings, listens and find solutions to complaints;
„hƒn Work with the Travel Clerks to manage personnel issues when planes are grounded;
„hƒn Book accommodations;
„hƒn Participate in social and recreational committees;
„hƒn Order supplies and maintain inventory;
„hƒn Set up facilities and equipment;
„hƒn Provide guest services and liaise with other departments.
Requirements:
„hƒn A certificate or diploma in Business Administration;
„hƒn MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer;
„hƒn Experience with Purchasing systems and Managing Contracts;
„hƒn Three (3) years experience coordinating the provision of administrative support in a camp or hospitality industry setting;
„hƒn One (1)year experience in a cross-cultural work environment.
„hƒn Experience developing and implementing new systems and procedures is an asset;
„hƒn Ability to read, write, and/ or speak Cree is an asset.
