Facilities Manager - Property - Contracts Management - Essential Services

The Facilities Manager will be involved in multiple functions at different levels. Energy and resources will also need to be shared in establishing the company including resourcing office accommodation, staff, physical resources, and establish company policies and procedures. Based in Melbourne they offer excellent remuneration and they have accomadating HR strategies in place.

Your main responsibilities are:

- Implement 'best practices' Facilities and Property Management Strategies and processes.
- Take full P/L responsibility including operating budgets for asset and service management of company property portfolio.
- Optimize procurement solutions for delivery of Operations and Maintenance services for Company's property portfolio.
- Manage and control outsourced facilities and Maintenance service providers, subcontractors & Suppliers.
- Provide strategic and operational advice from a facilities and Property perspective on new property developments of the Company.
- Manage a core team of in house personnel.

You will possess a Graduate / Post Graduate Degree or equivalent qualification in building, construction, property or facilities management discipline from an internationally recognized university. Have a minimum 5 -10 years of experience in asset & property management, Operations & Maintenance of mixed-use real estate portfolios (preferably in owner's representative capacity). Experience on Government or correctional facilites will be of benefit to you also.
