With a steady flow of new and exciting opportunities provided by our pipeline of world-class liquefied natural gas projects, we currently have positions available for experience Maintenance Technicians.
You will be accountable for maintaining mechanical equipment associated with the extraction, processing and export of hydrocarbon. These includes gas turbines, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, a diverse range of pumps including cryogenic services, alignment of precision rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, valves and actuators and other static equipment.
Other Accountabilities:
* Responsible for maintaining working area in a safe manner.
* Responsible for following Maintenance business process.
* Responsible for collecting permits pertaining to work.
* Responsible for working as an active team members to ensure the maintenance efficiencies are maximised for the area.
* Responsible for defined Area Maintenance compliance with HSE standards including performing Job Hazard Analysis prior to work commencing.
* Responsible for ensuring work order operations are executed to plan.
* Responsible for carrying out unexpected Management of Change activities by following due process.
* Responsible for return of all unused and repairable items to warehouse.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
* Trade qualified, Mechanical.
* Experience in a similar industry.
* Good understanding of and commitment to safety principles and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Drive to identify opportunities for improvement in work or maintenance practices.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Capability to operate maintenance systems.
* Additional qualifications or post trade studies will be viewed favorably.
These positions are based in Karratha in the heart of our operation. We can offer successful candidates Karratha residential or fly in fly out arrangements.
