COORDINATOR FINANCE (CREDIT)
Reporting into the Manager Finance (Credit), the Coordinator Finance (Credit) is responsible for the coordination and application of credit-related control activities within Marketing associated with the Aluminium Trading and Marketing Unit. Located in The Hague (The Netherlands) your key accountabilities will be to:
• Ensure credit related activities are performed in accordance with the BHP Billiton Group’s Marketing Risk Management Standard and Procedures;
• Assume a single point of accountability for the Aluminium TMU based credit function through management and coordination of associated credit activities;
• Assist the Marketing team to develop trade and other credit solutions where appropriate in order to facilitate customer activity;
• Assist Manager Finance (Credit) with development and maintenance of the credit strategy for the BHP Billiton Group;
• Maintain and enhance BHP Billiton’s reputation as a reliable and reputable supplier.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ideally you have a minimum of 5 years experience in a risk management related role within a large global organisation, of which at least 2 years in a senior credit role.
• Bachelors’ and/or Masters’ degree in Accounting/Commerce/Business/Finance or other related discipline
• A self starter with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate. Experience working with SAP is an advantage
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is essential
