A member of the BHP Billiton Group, Nickel West is a fully integrated nickel business comprising mines, concentrators, a smelter and refinery, all located in Western Australia.
Nickel West is the world’s third largest producer of nickel-in-concentrate.
Leinster Nickel Operation is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and the newly commissioned Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with more than 1400 people and all the modern conveniences - an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, race-course and even an 18 hole golf course.

Think Purpose
You will be responsible and accountable for managing the activities of the shift in terms of compliance to all legislative, safety, health and environmental requirements, as well as working to achieve daily production targets.
Think Requirements
To be successful in this role it is essential you have a working knowledge of mine service installation, ground support installation and pumping.
You will hold a WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or a WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency and a Senior First Aid Certificate.
Your superior organisational, planning and communication skills will allow you to interact with staff and contractors at all levels and help you to lead a motivated workforce.
A current WA Drivers Licence and Police Clearance are essential.
Leinster Nickel Operation has a clean shaven policy.
