A member of the BHP Billiton Group, Nickel West is a fully integrated nickel business comprising mines, concentrators, a smelter and refinery, all located in Western Australia.
Nickel West is the world’s third largest producer of nickel-in-concentrate.
Leinster Nickel Operation is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Nickel operations at Leinster include the Perseverance Underground Mine, Cliffs Nickel Mine, Rocky’s Reward Open Pit Mine, other satellite deposits, and a nickel concentrator and dryer.
The Cliffs Nickel Mine is an integral part of the Leinster Nickel Operation, located 12 kilometres south of the Mt Keith Operation. Cliffs is a narrow vein nickel/cobalt deposit and is an underground mining operation.

Think Purpose
You will help to ensure that the assets at Cliffs are safely and cost effectively maintained to a level that ensures the ongoing delivery of nickel to meet production requirements, and in doing so, supports Cliffs by being industry leaders in maintenance.
Think Requirements
The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and have the following:
• “A” Grade Electrical Licence;
• HV/LV Reticulation experience;
• Computer literacy with GSAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Advanced communication skills;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Ability to coach and mentor;
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams.
Candidates with In House Electrical Nominee and Licensed Electrical Installation certification will be highly regarded.
A current WA Drivers Licence and Police Clearance are essential.
Leinster Nickel Operation including Cliffs has a clean shaven policy.
