You will be responsible to plan, co-ordinate and control all activities and procedures associated with the management of service levels, by mapping out plans and projecting demand and supply developments; communicate with Departments/ users on key issues pertaining to material usage and requirements, by discussing/ assessing user needs; co-ordinate all procedures associated with controlling the inventory holdings, by generating and reviewing stock reports and reconciling physical stocks.
Manage and maintain all records on the SAP Stock and Materials modules, by creating the Materials Master Records and raising requisitions and undertake specific tasks/ activities related to the Materials Management Section, by addressing operational requirements with the Superintendent: Warehouse and Inventory Planning.
The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and control the Materials Management function by assessing and analysing standards and service levels, communicating with users on matters pertaining to material usage and managing inventory holding in order to ensure effective implementation of the Materials Requirement Planning process and the elimination of unnecessary costs.
Ideally you will have a B.Degree or equivalent, be computer literate with Substantial years (3-4) experience in Materials Management or in a related function
