Organization/DepartmentThe successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a safe, high value, highly integrated service related to Engineering, Construction and Commissioning and for the continuous improvement of this service in alignment with business drivers.
Job descriptionMain Duties:
• Delivery of business performance targets for Integrated Delivery of Projects at any of its stages (Evaluation, Engineering and Procurement, Fabrication and Construction, Close out)
• Applies processes and HSSE policies for all types of projects, including emergencies
• Responsible for the overall delivery of all the projects within the assets of responsibility
• Leads the development, improvement and implementation of engineering and construction processes to enhance the integrity, reliability, availability and of the facilities
• Effective application of Policies and Principles to the business benefit of all parties contracted
• Monitoring, measurement and review of all significant aspects of the business that influence performance, taking necessary action to improve performance and achieve targets and agreed KPIs
• Provides visible leadership and clear direction, targets and accountabilities
• Takes personal responsibility for promoting and supporting continuous improvement activities within all aspects of the business
• Motivates and develops a high performing team with a culture driven by continuous performance improvement
• Initiates and progress such action as necessary to maintain standard of quality, safety, efficiency, planned progress and conformity to project contractual requirements and specifications
• Performs all other related job functions as required
• Key challenges: Managing relationships with Management, Projects Team Staff and the Client, Maintaining a highly motivated Projects Team, Continuously improving Engineering service delivery
RequirementsEducation/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent.
Experience:
• Significant experience in a similar position dealing with offshore and onshore projects
• Proven experience with implementation of Engineering strategies/projects in the Oil & Gas industry
• Ability to synthesise complex or diverse information
