Supply Officer

BMA Peak Downs Mine is one of the largest open-cut coal operations in the world, currently producing 8.7 million tonnes per annum of hard coking coal. It employs over 800 employees who reside in the nearby township of Moranbah, a modern, well-equipped town with all facilities, located 200km west of Mackay and the Whitsunday coast.

Reporting to the Warehouse Controller, you will form part of and contribute to the team in the Supply Department. A proven record and commitment to Safety and Environment Management Principles is essential.

Primary Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

* Despatch of outgoing items/goods from the Warehouse
* Process the receiving of goods
* Perform stocktaking duties
* Issue of parts over the counter

The successful applicant will be required to have solid knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Maintenance Systems and Logistics together with SAP or MIMS experience

The successful applicants will possess the following:

* Previous warehousing experience is essential, preferably in the mining industry.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with computerised maintenance programs (i.e SAP)
* Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
* Forklift Licence
* A passion to work within a team environment
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to make decisions, judgements & negotiate with others

This position will work a shift roster incorporating weekend and night work.
