Based in our Brisbane office, the Project Development Group (PDG) is tasked with becoming a Centre of Excellence for the undertaking of studies and delivery of significant sustaining and capital projects within BMA. The Project Development Group provides project delivery services to BMA through the management of all phases of the investment life cycle, with a view to maximising return on investment.
We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Liaison Manager. The successful applicant will assist BMA by providing efficient coordination, communication and negotiation of project requirements and plans between the Project Development Group, internal BMA operations clients and external project stakeholder’s throughout the entire project life cycle from feasibility through to commissioning and handover stages. Based in Brisbane, the successful applicant will report directly to the Manager of Projects, and will be responsible for the following:
* Ensuring aims and objectives of our organisational model are incorporated through all stages of project life cycles
* Ensuring aims and objectives of all projects are built on a technology platform to meet our operating philosophy
* Ensuring project requirements are consistently conveyed in a timely manner to relevant operations clients, EPCM contract personnel and other external project stakeholders
* Providing representation at Project Development Group and BMA site project related communication and progress meetings
* Providing operations management and human resources support to all growth and sustainable projects being carried out by the Project Development Group
* Providing advice and support to Project and Study Managers through the recommendation of communication or liaison strategies for projects
With significant operational management experience within large scale mining environments, you will have demonstrated working knowledge of project management processes. Engineering degree qualified, the successful applicant will demonstrate effective communication skills with proven experience in developing successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels.
