GEMCO is seeking outstanding individuals for the positions of Concentrator Operator to be responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective operation and maintenance of ore processing plant and equipment in support of continuous manganese ore processing operations. Duties typically include reclamation from stockpiles, beneficiation, haulage and stockpiling, operation of plant and equipment, isolation of plant and equipment, operational shutdown maintenance and housekeeping.
Reporting to the Concentrator Team Leader, this pivotal role must give full consideration to relevant safety standards, production requirements and department objectives.
Key tasks include, but are not limited to:

Primary Crushing Station
*
Concentrator
*
Feed Preparation
*
Heavy Media Drums
*
Heavy Media Fines

Control Room
* Isolation of plant and equipment
* Operational and shutdown maintenance
* Housekeeping
* Additional duties as required.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Current NT Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (or ability to gain prior to commencement)
* Trade qualifications preferred
* Processing skills would be advantageous
* Multiskilled and flexible, ability to operate both plant and equipment as needed
* Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
* Team player and communicator
* Ability to maintain housekeeping standards to ensure safe and efficient work practices at all times
* Willing and able to assist with preventative maintenance of Ore Processing operationally and during shutdowns
