Think Purpose
Reporting to the Asset Integrity Superintendent, the role of the Scaffolding Supervisor is to lead the scaffolding team in the delivery of the asset integrity maintenance program to the operating asset and provide support service to the fixed plant maintenance team in order to achieve safe and reliable operations.
You will achieve this by the use of best practice maintenance methods, develop procedures and work methods to carrying out scaffolding and rigging to assist in achieving a level of plant availability, reliability and capacity consistent with that required by the Asset Integrity, Fixed plant maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects teams.
Think Requirements
You will be a suitably experienced and qualified individual in the field of Scaffolding and Rigging and have had relevant experience in a project or fixed plant maintenance leadership / supervisory role.
You must be familiar with scaffold inspection and planned maintenance inspection programs, computer based maintenance systems, budgeting and cost management systems.
Advanced communication skills are a must as you will be required to liaise with personnel at all levels of the business on regular occasions. Coaching and facilitating skills are essential as will be the ability to utilise influencing skills to influence key personnel across different work functions.
You will also be involved in resource development and manpower allocation of tasks and setting up processes and systems. This will include:
* the management of scaffold materials;
* refinement and development of site scaffolding standards;
* development of schedules and manning requirement;
* procurement of materials and services;
* scoping and planning of tasks including scaffold design and rigging studies;
* leading and developing scaffold team.
A current WA Drivers Licence and Advanced Scaffolding Certificate are essential.
