HSE Superintendent - Underground - residential

Environmental Superintendent - residential (closure and remediation experience)

A Global mining operator is seeking to appoint a HSE Superintendent and an Environment Superintendent to provide specialist support to the Mining Operations and Mining Maintenance teams. Facilitate the development of the procedures and systems required to safely operate a large complex underground operation including a large fleet of modern mobile equipment and supporting infrastructure, mentor personnel in these procedures and processes as well as facilitate the improvement of the safety and environmental management systems.

Tertiary qualifications are essential for these roles, as well as proven 3 years minimum experience underground and in implementing initiatives in a similar position. Proven interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written are also required, along with intermediate skills in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of mining operations and previous experience in a major mining company will be essential.
