Lead Commissioning Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Lead Commissioning Engineer for a new power station in Victoria. This 12 month contract is a great opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading power generation, oil & gas exploration & production and energy companies with operations across the Australasian region.

The role itself will be responsible for developing and implementing commissioning plans, procedures and practices for the new facility.

The role:

• Build, maintain and manage commissioning systems required for the plant.

• Liaising with internal construction, project and engineering teams.

• Interfacing with contractors and suppliers.

• Ensure that the operations and plan are in line with the client’s vision and values.

The Candidate:

• Extensive experience within the energy industry having focused on the commissioning or operations project phase.

• Previous experience commissioning gas turbines.

• Ability to interface with and lead a broad range of people across the organization.

• Proactive and motivating in driving the project team forward.
