Project Manager Water Leakage

Project Manager required for Water Leakage / Pressure Management project in South East Queensland near the state capital Brisbane.

Our client is looking for some short-term cover for the management of a project aimed at reducing the amount of leakage and wasted water in the utility. The project is almost completed and the construction is all done. The client needs an experienced Project Manager to implement the scheme and bring the new systems on-line.

The role will involve:-
• Management of contract variations with sub-contractors
• Complete the project budget
• Some Contractor management
• Oversee pressure tests and monitor new performance
• Liaison to stakeholders and affected parties to bring Project on-line

Ideal candidate will have a background in similar water leakage and pressure management projects, although, for this short-term role, they will look at strong Project Managers with Civil Engineering degree and significant experience in the water industry.
