Supply Chain Coordinator

Barrick Africa is currently seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Training Coordinator to develop, implement and deliver competency based training that results in the achievement of competent Supply Chain operational staff at North Mara.

KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and/or install competency based training programs in Warehousing, Logistics, Inventory Management and Procurement operations that ensure Barrick Supply Chain operational requirements are met.

• Conduct competency based skills assessments of staff and provide feedback and remedial action to staff as necessary

• Conduct and facilitate One on One and Group Training

• Mentor high potential local staff in preparation for promotion and increased responsibilities

• All workplace activities to comply with the Barrick policies and procedures regarding safety and environment. Monitor Compliance of TPL with Barrick Contractor safety standards

• Develop and maintain appropriate training records for Supply Chain staff.

PROFESSIONAL AND INTERPERSONAL DETAILS

Education:

* Relevant qualification, diploma or degree in Train the Trainer and Adult Education
* At least 7 – 10 years prior experience in a training capacity

Experience:

* Must understand and have experience in competency based education and assessment.
* High level of oral and written communications skills
* Excellent people and communication skills
* Good computer skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Able to work flexible hours when required
* Highly Organized and self motivated.
* Continuous improvement driven.
* Professional
