With extensive experience in the extraction & processing of the earth's resources, our client boasts a history built on developing successful, sustainable operations and strong community relationships. In 2009 they continue to be a leader in the mining & resources sector.

RecruitR is assisting this organisation with the sourcing of a suitably qualified Mine Planning Engineer for one of their operations in Queensland. In this position you will have the option of living residentially or FIFO. For applicants that choose to live residentially there will be heavily subsidised housing provided.
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to:

* Developing mine plans and schedules
* Assisting with development of annual budgets
* Liaising with production personnel to ensure maximum recovery of the ore in the safest and most efficient manner

The organisation is ideally seeking someone from a Mining Engineering background that possesses previous experience within planning roles of open pit operations. You will also need to possess an analytical approach to your work and effective communication skills.
