Commodity Purchaser

Responsibilities:
* Sourcing of supplier for assigned commodity such as bolt and nut, plates, round bar, I beam etc.
* Request for quotation / proposal
* Issue PO and follow up on delivery
* Negotiation / cost saving for assign commodity
* Liaise with QC and supplier on non-conformance issues
* Supplier performance rating
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 2 years experience preferably in oil & gas / marine industry
* Good negotiation and communication skills
* Proficient with MS Office applications
