Technical Specialist
(Singapore)
Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor chemical industrial wastage treatment in the field/plant to ensure that service provided meets the company objectives for the assigned projects.
* Provide technical guidance and involve in troubleshooting and control of chemical treatment plant.
* Control and ensure the process variables adhere to the guidelines stated by the Operation or Project Manager.
* Train new employees when applicable in various types of industrial waste treatment technologies and equipments operations.
* Implement and maintain company environment program to comply with the statutory regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
* Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering with at least 2 year’s relevant working experience in hazardous and toxic waste disposal management plant.
* Proven experience in various treatment technologies related to Hazardous & toxic waste disposal such as Mixtures of solvents, chlorinated compounds, hydrocarbons, refinery, bis-phenol etc.
* Familiar with NEA regulations of handling, transportation, treatment and disposal of toxic industrial waste in Singapore
* Operator experience in a control room with be added advantage to this position.
* Able to perform shift work and work under harsh environment.
* Strong technical and communication skills required.
