A unique and golden opportunity now exists for experienced Field & Logistics personnel to join our quickly growing team in PNG.
Within this role you will be providing quality logistical and field support services to the Australia/ Pacific Exploration group. Specifically, you will consolidate, maintain, audit and monitor existing field equipment as well as acquisition major field items.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination and ongoing coaching of field support personnel and equipment to assist the Exploration group Pacific in the discovery of gold deposits. Working as part of a large team both locally and internationally you will promote the exchange of ideas and information throughout the broader Exploration group.
In order to be successful in this role ideally you should possess a minimum 5 years experience in Exploration field and logistics activities as well as a trade certificate in Mining, Geoscience or Supply Management. This position will require exceptional communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills. We are seeking enthusiastic team members who can work and negotiate with people across all levels of the organisation and with our existing and potential vendors.
It is expected you will spend some of your time at various Exploration locations throughout PNG, accommodation will range from mine sites, hotel/ motel to more remote type camp set ups. Frequent helicopter travel is a requirement of this position.
