We have an opportunity on the southside of Brisbane for an experienced Brake Press Operator with an outstanding knowledge of Brake Press operations. Our client is an industry leader, with client service and client relationships being a highly important part of their business.

Your responsibilites will include:

* Operation of brake press machines
* Supervising/training of any offsiders
* To produce quality pressing i.e., cones segments, squares to round, troughs and setting
* Understanding machine set ups and tool changes
* Quality/ quantity/dimensional tolerance checks
* Meeting the scheduled times to ensure customer satisfaction
* To load machines as per schedule and ensure parts are marked in accordance with work instructions
* Maintaining and providing a safe workplace in accordance with OHS standards
* Work and collaborate as a team to achieve the best outcome
* To work overtime when/if required

The following criteria is a must:

* Experience in brake presses between 300 to 1000 tonne
* Pressing plate from 8mm - 32mm
* Ability to read work shop drawings and read written descriptions
* Ability to read and complete job sheets
* Be a highly organised/motivated
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
* Fork lift/Crane License would be advantageous but not essential
