Our client, a world wide industrial explosives manufacturing and services provision group, wishes to engage the services of an experienced mining professional to join their team as Projects Manager. As Projects Manager, you will be working with a national and expatriate workforce to provide leadership for the implementation of blast based services program team in the Kalimantan Region of Indonesia. Specific responsibilities include:

* Develop key customer relationships at senior management levels
* Manage customer interface of business teams and participate in negotiations of major account deals
* Ensure adequate product stewardship support is provided to the region
* Lead the Technical Services Team, ensuring co-ordination and co-operation between business, and relevant global marketing and technical functions to develop and implement value adding business strategies
* Create a customer focussed, profit oriented culture in the technical services team
* Demonstrate leadership to your team in the implementation of SH&E policy and standards.

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or similar
* Experience in mine management or technical leadership roles
* Solid background in business and production roles.
* Cultural sensitivity and a willingness to travel

Offered on a residential basis, a competitive salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
