Details:Our client is an Australian-based company and is publicly listed on both the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and the London Stock Exchange (AIM). With gold production and exploration activities in Papua New Guinea, they are also involved in the construction of gold producing infrastructure and have plans to double their gold production over the next 3 years. At present they have an immediate requirement for a Human Resource Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer as the HR Manager you will be responsible for the management of human resources requirements of the company and its subsidiary company when required.
The key roles and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Day to day operational Human Resource Management and advice for the Company and subsidiaries
• Implementing, reviewing and enhancing HR and operational policies and procedures.
• Managing HR legislative compliance.
• Apply and manage recruitment, selection, and induction practices. Advise and assist managers as required.
• Develop and implement performance management systems to plan, appraise and improve individual and team performance.
• Research and recommend the structure of remuneration and other conditions of employment and monitor remuneration of company employees.
• Oversee and maintain personnel records and various human resources information systems to best practice industry standards.
• Ad hoc project assignments and other duties as directed.
To be considered for this role you must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification with demonstrable industry related experience.
Preferred but not essential is remote and/or developing country experience. An excellent remuneration package will be negotiated commensurate with your experience.
