A successful engineering consultancy has gained some additional projects after a succession of successful bids. After recently taking on some additional employees, they are now looking for a Project Engineer to add value to their established team.

They are looking for a motivated Project Engineer with about 5-10 years experience. You will be responsible for the bids, proposals, studies all through procurement and byond. The projects will be for the design of major and small resources and mining projects and the successful candidate will therefore need the relevant experience.

This role offers full involvement in projects, as you will be involved in management of clients, proposals, project planning and timing, and design. You will ideally be working for a engineering consultancy and must have good undertsnding across disciplines. You will be someone who can liaise with clients and contractors, and is not afraid to get stuck in.

You will be motivated to succeed, and will enjoy taking on responsibility. The suitable candidate will hold an engineering degree or equivalent and will have recently been in a Project Engineer or Project Manager position. The correct person will be involved on smaller sized projects and will have a good grounding of the basic principles with the drive and passion to build upon these.

This is initially a 6 month contract but as successes with past bids continue to be won, the possibilities for the right candidate a more permanent arrangement would be considered.
