With an impressive client portfolio including major Queensland utility companies, this organisation is a leading provider of design to construction and maintenance services for sub-transmission stations. In order to keep up with the demands of new and existing projects they are seeking an Electrical Substation Drafter to join their Brisbane based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified design drafter to embrace the challenge of an interesting role and make an impact within an industry leader. Working under the supervision of a Substation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and deliverables for zone, terminal and commercial substations up to 500kV.

You will have a solid work portfolio in primary and secondary design projects, preferably within high voltage networks, substation layout and circuitry design. In depth knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation v.8 is essential and you will have previous exposure to a 'design to construction' environment.
