The Position & You

My client has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal / Bid Manager to join its Melbourne based Infrastructure team, and play an integral role in the future growth of the business.

Their vision for the Infrastructure team is to grow and become a leading and sustainable infrastructure construction and services operator in the water / gas sectors.

You will be responsible for all EOI and tenders submission related activities, as well as being responsible for writing and developing a range of collateral documents such as capability brochures.

You will also prepare regular win rate analysis to assist the business in measuring success and to encourage a learning/strategically oriented culture.

You must embrace best practice submission approaches to increase win rates and to position the company in its sectors of choice.

With increasing effort on major contracts, alliance, and consortium submissions, this role will be responsible for driving and representing my client as a Proposal / Bid manager.

Requirements - my client is clear on the person they seek. A degree in Construction or Engineering is preferred but not essential, as is at least 4 years experience in the infrastructure industry fulfilling any of the duties mentioned above.

Finally, because of the importance of this role, you should be a team player who puts colleagues and your employees ahead of your own interests.
