Engineering Manager - Onshore Port and Rail

An experienced Engineering Manager is required for greenfields development of on-shore port facilities. This is your opportunity to play an integral part in a major infrastructure project, backed by an alliance of mining companies and the West Australian Government. The project is currently in feasibiliy stage and has secure funding to take it through to completion.

Your role will be to guide multi-disciplined teams and external consultants through the project scoping, conceptual and detailed design, and on to completion. You will also advise on best practice and ensure engineering standards are maintained. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and direction to the team, and mentoring junior staff.

In order to qualify for this role, you will be an accomplished Engineer, most likely from a Mechanical background, with significant experience as an Engineering Manager. This position calls for an individual who has obtained a high level of technical understanding in On-Shore Port facilities and associate infrastructure, so you will be familiar with loadout facilities, conveyors, car dumpers, stackers and reclaimers etc.

This outstanding opportunity will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to join and lead a dedicated team, working on a landmark project for WA. Naturally a salary package commensurate with the responsibilities of Engineering Manager will be offered.
