Our Client is one of Australia’s largest and most highly experienced building and civil engineering contractors. They have undertaken some of Australia’s most significant and prominent construction buildings, road, rail, industrial and infrastructure projects, and have a record forward book in Queensland.
As part of a strategic growth plan they are looking to expand their business and are seeking expressions of interest for Senior Civil Estimators to join their group.
Working closely with the Construction team, you will utilise your sound construction knowledge to assist with tender preparations. You will meet strict review and time deadlines, check contract documents against administration tender documents and have the ability to utilise plant, equipment, materials and construction techniques for the project. You will also maintain client, subcontractor and supplier relationships and provide assistance on design, budget or pricing issues as needed.
Ideally, you will have a Civil Engineering Qualification with over 5 years on site or estimating experience. You will be proficient in MS Office and Expert Estimation or a similar package. Your strong communication, reporting skills and commitment to safety will be highly regarded.
An appropriate salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
