Let? ​s not deal in rhetoric, just facts.​ Times have been very uncertain in the resources industry and with recent successes; our client is one of the best positioned companies in this market and are continuing to grow.​ A snapshot of their current position is 20%​ compound growth for well over a decade; an exceptionally strong balance sheet; continued outperformance in profits and a strong pipeline of diverse projects in sectors affected by current market uncertainty.​ They are seeking a General Manager - Estimation.​

Known globally for working in partnership with its clients, delivering innovative projects in resources and infrastructure sector, our client has created an executive level role to support their strong growth and long term expansion plans.​ This role will suit that individual who wants to be the centre of information and be the in house expert of estimation.​

This is that opportunity that is rarely seen but will provide the chance for an Estimation Manager or Senior Cost Controller who wants to take that next in advancing their career to a corporate level.​ The role will have a focus on establishing and developing the processes and systems that will help increase the best possible outcomes for the client.​ With no real direct reports, this role will have a dotted line report from the estimation managers and regional operations managers providing them with the grey hairs of experience in EPCM or EPC projects in the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.​ Day to day this role will work hand in hand with the Contracts, Risk and Compliance managers.​

To be successful, you will have many years of experience in the Resources, Infrastructure, Oil, and Gas industries at a hands on level in providing accurate estimates, cost plans or details cost engineering reports.​ Degree qualifications would be high regarded but long term industry tenure and experience will also be assessed enthusiastically.​
