Aligning the business to sustain leading best practices, they seek to appoint a Senior/Principal Estimator. This role offers diversity and challenge at a senior level. Reporting to and supporting the Estimating Manager, you will be a key and influential senior member of the Estimating Group, with a strategic corporate and project input focus to Queensland, National and International mining and minerals processing projects ranging in value from $250M to $3.5B AUD, together with direct liaison with Clients, JV/Alliance Partners and Key Stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Financial and technical review of all tenders, and participates in the submission of tenders;
• Ensure timely and competent estimating through compliance of company procedures;
• Contribute to feasibility studies on resources and infrastructure projects to ensure all technical factors have been correctly assessed;
• Assist with further development of estimating expertise within the organisation and mentor others within the team.

Your demonstrated estimating expertise will enable your success in this role. It is anticipated that you will have had involvement with major and minor capital projects at a similar level and/or looking for that next level up in your career. You will be confident in undertaking small to large capital estimates, on a variety of projects eg. infrastructure, mining and minerals processing, oil and gas. A Diploma or Degree in Engineering Discipline or equivalent is understood.
