Now we are searching a qualified personnel for an established oil company:

"Procurement Coordinator"
(for Western Expats Only)

Job Purpose:

• The position shall be based in the Contractor s offices in Indonesia,
• Provide assurance that all Procurement activities carried out by the QPS Contractor comply with the Contract. In doing so, the Procurement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and materials are of appropriate quality, and that they are supplied from appropriate manufacturers in accordance with the Project Schedule,
• Monitor and ensure that all Procurement activities related to QPS are carried out in accordance with the appropriate procedures and approval processes,
• Facilitate coordination with respect to the procurement activities of QPS and the separate contractor for the Process Platform South (PPS),
• The Procurement Coordinator (QPS) shall be part of the Project Management Team that is managed by the Senior Project Engineer (QPS), with a functional accountability to the Project Services Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

• To develop appropriate Procurement Procedures with emphasis on the coordination between Company and the Contractor,
• Implement all appropriate systems necessary for efficient control of QPS procurement activities,
• Ensure that the QPS Contractor implements a Procurement Plan that is feasible and realistic, with particular regard to quality, schedule, and progress measurement. Ensure that the QPS Contractor s Procurement Plan aligns with the overall Project Schedule,
• Monitor the QPS Contractor s procurement activities and performance, including bidder lists, requests for quotation, the tendering process, purchase order specification, vendor selection, manufacturing & quality control, and delivery to Site. This includes assurance that they continually conform to the agreed Procurement Plan and related schedules.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in appropriate subject,
• Min. 7 years experience as a Procurement Coordinator on major offshore oil & gas EPCIC projects involving international contractors.

General Conditions:

• The candidates ideally worked within this region (Southeast Asia - also include South Korea within our region,
• Its a fabrication job now, meaning that the design is almost complete,
• The project itself is a living quarters module which will be installed in Thailand where the job is eventually for,
• The role is based in Jakarta with visits to the construction/fabrication yard,
• It will be a daily rate paid in USD net of local tax which will be paid on your behalf, the successful candidate will be given an apartment and car plus driver along with mob and demob flights, plus 3 return flights to home country,
• It is a single status job but if you want to bring and fund your wife/family you can do. But family will not be paid for - no schooling etc.,
• Medical insurance will also be provided for the man only.
