THE ROLE
A leading Oil & Gas Energy company has requested CCL to provide a Drilling HSE Advisor. to ensure the activities are executed as per the work scope and in adherence to the HSE standards. Contract period is 12 months (renewable). 4/4 rotation. Camp based accommodation provided. Will be required to travel as required. Excellent internationally competitive daily rate.
THE PERSON
Solid background with experience in Drilling and HSE. Remote operations experience. Responsibilities include evaluation of drilling contractors safety management systems, establishing onshore and offshore base camp safety management systems. Act as assessor, coach and support for maintaining high level of services. Assist contractors with formulating audit schedules and improvement plans. Ensure site safety advisors scope of work activities are aligned to their Personnel Development Plan to demonstrate progress through benchmarking of activities / performance. Develop plans for HSE campaigns. Ensure lessons learned are communicated. Undertake audits. Undertake accident and incident investigation services with focus on establishing root cause and applying preventative measures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will have a degree in relevant subject or other HSE qualifications / experience. UKOOA Medical, Fire Fighting and Survival Certification. Excellent communication and presentation skills including fluent written and spoken English. Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Knowledge of Arabic a plus. Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organisational skills.
