Contract Duration: 1 year renewable contract
Location: Oman
Start Date: ASAP
Basic Function and Scope:
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of detailed design and equipment / material procurement and ensure constructability of design.
• Manage the QA/QC staff on all worksites and ensure project quality targets are achieved.
• Establish and manage the Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control process including audits, reviews, etc.,
• Ensure follow up and appropriate close out of all review actions items.
• Provide Quality Controls to the EPC Contractor activities at the construction phase
• Manage EPC contractor QA/QC processes as they relate to procurement of materials and equipments also support the EPC contractor in developing their management control framework, i.e. system, technical and project management plans and procedures.
RequirementsJob Qualification:
• B. Sc. Eng from an accredited college or university.
• 15 years of total minimum experience post qualification in Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry.
• 5 years of minimum experience in related designation / specialty.
• Must have minimum recent 2 years experience with the contractor in the similar position. Work effectively with peers in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Preference will be given to Western Expat
