Senior / Lead Telecom Engineer (FPSO)

Responsibilities:
* Develop telecom engineering analysis, drawings and documentation.
* Develop telecom engineering solutions according to law, class, rules and regulations as well as contract.
* Develop cost effective telecom engineering solutions.
* Coordinate, maintain and utilize to the fullest the project interface engineering tools.
* Coordinate, maintain and utilize to the fullest the project engineering tool, SmartPlant Telecom module from Intergraph.
* Package follow-up of the telecom packages.
* Without delay report deviations to project management.
* Adhere to the QHMS requirements with respect to instrument engineering.
* Delivery of engineering documentation and other deliverables on budget, quality and within the planned timeframe.

Requirements:
* Minimum 8 years relevant experience within engineering companies, yards etc.
* In depth technical discipline knowledge. It is a requirement that most of this experience is from the telecom field.
* Preferable with solid knowledge of and experience from FPSO conversions and EIT packages for such conversions.
* Be a team player and be motivated by working in fast multidiscipline marine, oil and or gas projects.
* Able to solve complex problems and day-to-day challenges.
* Higher education (e.g. BSc., M.Sc.)
* Willingness to travel.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Long telecom engineering experience preferably from the marine industry in general and FPSO conversions in particular.
* Proven track record as a senior telecom engineer in marine FPSO conversion projects.
* Know appropriate class, rules and regulations as well as common discipline practice for FPSO conversion projects.
* Know engineering tools such as SmartPlant from Intergraph.
* Be familiar with navigation, GMDSS radio, PA/GA Tel./Data, Entertainment systems & products.
* Be focused on solutions within sound marine engineering practice.
* Attentive towards the customer needs.
