Well established Construction Company looking for suitable candidate to fill in the following position:

Quantity Surveyor
(Melaka)

Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly site valuation report and work progress report.
* To prepare and check the Subcontractors' monthly claims.
* Evaluation and preparation of project progress claims and VO.
* To assist and liase with Project Manager and Project Director to resolve any contractual disputes arising on projects.
* Filing and other documentations management.
* Responsible for site measurement
* To coordinate with contractor and site personnel
* Responsible for tender costing and tender documentation
* To handle all inquiries of quotation
* Responsible for taking off quantities, variation orders and project cost control

Requirements:
* Candidate should be familiar with quantity taking off, rates of construction materials, contract documentation and preparation of tender submissions.
* Able to communicate & coordinate effectively with Clients, Consultants, Construction Team and Subcontractors.
* Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English.
* At least 2 year(s) of working experience in contracting firms/infrastructure works.
* Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Posses own transport.
* Fresh graduates are welcome.
